Alfred Lansing

Alfred Lansing (1921-1975) was an American journalist and author. He is best known for Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage, his gripping account of Ernest Shackleton's ill-fated 1914 Antarctic expedition, which has become one of the most celebrated adventure books of the twentieth century.
