Angie Thomas

Angie Thomas is an American young adult author from Jackson, Mississippi. Her debut novel The Hate U Give, published in 2017, was inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement and spent over 100 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list. The book was adapted into a major film and won multiple awards including the William C. Morris Award.
