Ann Patchett

Ann Patchett is an American novelist, memoirist, and bookstore owner. Her novel Bel Canto won the PEN/Faulkner Award and the Orange Prize for Fiction. She is also the co-owner of Parnassus Books, an independent bookstore in Nashville, Tennessee, and has been named one of Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People.
