Anthony Burgess

Anthony Burgess (1917-1993) was an English novelist, poet, and composer. He is best known for his dystopian novel A Clockwork Orange, published in 1962, which was adapted into a controversial and influential film by Stanley Kubrick. He wrote over thirty novels during his prolific career.
