Sir Arthur C. Clarke was a British science fiction writer, futurist, and inventor known for his meticulous scientific accuracy. He is best known for 2001: A Space Odyssey and Rendezvous with Rama, and co-wrote the screenplay for Stanley Kubrick's film adaptation.
