Bret Easton Ellis is an American author. He is best known for his novels Less Than Zero, American Psycho, and The Rules of Attraction, which offer sharp satirical portraits of excess, consumerism, and moral emptiness in late twentieth-century America. American Psycho was adapted into a cult classic film.
