Carlos Ruiz Zafón

Carlos Ruiz Zafon (1964-2020) was a Spanish novelist. He is best known for The Shadow of the Wind, the first book in his Cemetery of Forgotten Books quartet, which has sold over 15 million copies worldwide. His atmospheric novels blend mystery, romance, and Gothic elements in the streets of Barcelona.
