Catherine Marshall

Catherine Marshall (1914-1983) was an American author of inspirational fiction and nonfiction. She is best known for her novel Christy, based on her mother's experiences as a young teacher in the Appalachian Mountains, which has sold over 10 million copies and was adapted into a television series.
