Charles Dickens

Charles Dickens (1812-1870) was an English novelist widely regarded as the greatest writer of the Victorian era. His works, including Oliver Twist, A Tale of Two Cities, Great Expectations, and A Christmas Carol, are celebrated for their vivid characters, social commentary, and depictions of life in nineteenth-century England. Many of his novels were originally published in serialized form.
