Chloe Gong is a New Zealand-born Chinese author of young adult and adult fiction. She is best known for her These Violent Delights duology, a retelling of Romeo and Juliet set in 1920s Shanghai, which became a New York Times bestseller. She published her debut novel at age twenty-one.
