Colleen McCullough

Colleen McCullough (1937-2015) was an Australian author. She is best known for her novel The Thorn Birds, published in 1977, which became one of the best-selling novels of the twentieth century and was adapted into a hugely popular television miniseries. She also wrote the acclaimed Masters of Rome historical fiction series.
