Elizabeth Acevedo

Elizabeth Acevedo is a Dominican-American poet and novelist who won the National Book Award for Young People's Literature with her debut novel The Poet X. Her verse novels, including With the Fire on High and Clap When You Land, center Afro-Latinx identity and have made her one of the most celebrated voices in contemporary young adult fiction.
