Emily Brontë

Emily Brontë was an English novelist and poet, best known for her only novel, Wuthering Heights, a masterpiece of Gothic and Romantic literature first published in 1847. She also produced a body of powerful poetry, and her work is celebrated for its passionate intensity and moorland settings.
