F. Scott Fitzgerald was an American novelist and short story writer widely regarded as one of the greatest writers of the twentieth century. He is best known for The Great Gatsby, a defining portrait of the Jazz Age, as well as Tender Is the Night and his numerous short stories exploring wealth, ambition, and disillusionment.
