Harper Lee

Harper Lee (1926-2016) was an American novelist best known for To Kill a Mockingbird, published in 1960, which won the Pulitzer Prize and has sold over 40 million copies worldwide. The novel, addressing racial injustice in the American South, is widely taught in schools and is considered one of the most influential American novels of the twentieth century. Her second novel Go Set a Watchman was published in 2015.
