Helen Macdonald

Helen Macdonald is a British author, naturalist, and historian best known for H Is for Hawk, a genre-defying memoir about training a goshawk while grieving her father's death. The book won the Samuel Johnson Prize and the Costa Book of the Year, and was followed by the essay collection Vesper Flights.
