Jared Diamond

Jared Diamond is an American scientist, author, and professor of geography at UCLA, best known for Guns, Germs, and Steel, which won the Pulitzer Prize for its sweeping analysis of why certain civilizations came to dominate others. His other influential works include Collapse and The World Until Yesterday.
