Milan Kundera

Milan Kundera (1929-2023) was a Czech-French novelist. His most famous work The Unbearable Lightness of Being, published in 1984, is a philosophical novel set during the Prague Spring and has been translated into dozens of languages and adapted into a film. He lived in France from 1975 and became a French citizen in 1981, writing his later works in French.
