Rachel Kushner

Rachel Kushner is an American novelist. Her novel The Flamethrowers was a finalist for the National Book Award and was named one of the best books of 2013 by numerous publications. Her novel The Mars Room was also a finalist for the Man Booker Prize. She is known for her ambitious, politically engaged fiction that spans art, revolution, and American life.
