Rebecca Yarros is an American author of romance and fantasy fiction. Her novel Fourth Wing, published in 2023, became a massive bestseller and cultural phenomenon, topping bestseller lists worldwide. The book, set in a world of dragon riders, launched the Empyrean series and was one of the best-selling novels of the year. She has also written numerous contemporary romance novels.
