A Study in Drowning

Effy Sayre has spent her life inside fairy tales, sustained by a beloved novel and haunted by visions of a Fairy King. When the family of the late author Emrys Myrddin holds a contest to redesign his crumbling seaside estate, Effy wins the commission and travels to the storm-battered manor. There she meets Preston Heloury, a literature student who doubts Myrddin wrote his most famous work and offers Effy a place on his thesis if she helps him prove it.
