All Is Not Forgotten

Fifteen-year-old Jenny Kramer is attacked at a party, and in the hours after, a doctor administers a controversial drug that wipes her factual memory of the assault. Her physical wounds heal, but the emotional terror remains, untethered to any image she can name, and it drives her to a near-fatal suicide attempt. Psychiatrist Dr. Alan Forrester takes on Jenny and her fracturing family, working to recover the lost memory so the attacker can be found. As the buried recollection inches toward the surface, the cracks inside the Kramer marriage and the polished community around them open up, and Forrester's own role in the story turns out to be far less neutral than it seemed.
