Britt-Marie Was Here
Britt-Marie has spent decades keeping a spotless home for an ungrateful husband, and when she finally leaves him she walks into an unemployment office with no work history and no idea who she is alone. The only job available sends her to Borg, a recession-gutted town with one shuttered recreation center and a pack of soccer-obsessed children who need a coach. Britt-Marie, who alphabetizes her spices and judges anyone who does not use a coaster, slowly becomes the unlikely center of the town's misfits, and the community she never asked for becomes the family she did not know she needed.
