Lost and Lassoed

Gus Ryder has a lot on his plate running his family's eight-thousand-acre ranch in Meadowlark, Wyoming, and parenting his spunky six-year-old daughter, who is staying with him for the summer. Teddy Andersen has the opposite problem, no plan and no direction, until she lands the job of helping look after the little girl. Gus is gruff and guarded, Teddy is warm and searching, and the two of them settle into a slow-blooming tenderness as the summer stretches on. As they face their fears and learn to trust each other, the temporary arrangement starts to feel like the thing both of them were missing, and the ranch town closes around them like family.
