Nothing Tastes as Good

Emmett Truesdale is a Southern California retail worker over 300 pounds who has tried every diet and stayed stuck in his job, his love life, and his body. He enrolls in a clinical trial for an injectable weight-loss drug called Obexity, and the weight comes off fast. So do hours of his memory. People who were cruel to him begin to disappear, the local news reports a cannibalistic killer at large, and Emmett begins to suspect Obexity is doing more than melting fat.
