The First to Die at the End

It is the night Death-Cast goes live, promising to call people the day they are going to die, and no one yet trusts it. Orion Pagan has a heart condition that could kill him at any moment and signs up hoping for warning. Valentino Prince has just arrived in New York with a future ahead of him and signs up on a whim. They meet in Times Square as the year turns, feel an immediate pull, and decide to spend the night together, until the first round of End Day calls goes out and only one of them is told he will die.
