The Lucky One
Logan Thibault survived three tours in Iraq, and he believes a photograph of an unknown smiling woman, found half-buried in the sand at a base camp, is the charm that kept him alive. Back home and unable to shake the feeling, he walks from Colorado to a small town in North Carolina to find her. The woman is Beth Green, a divorced mother raising her son and helping run the family dog kennel. Logan takes a job there without telling Beth why he came, and the two fall into a careful, growing love. But Beth's ex-husband, the controlling local deputy Keith Clayton, will not let her move on, and the danger he carries threatens everything Logan and Beth are building.
