The Rook

Myfanwy Thomas wakes in a London park with no memory, ringed by unconscious bodies and clutching a letter addressed "To You" from the person she used to be. That letter reveals she is a Rook, a senior officer in the Checquy, the clandestine agency that shields Britain from supernatural threats using operatives with uncanny powers. Warned that someone inside the organization engineered her amnesia, Myfanwy has to keep her memory loss hidden, run her office, and unmask the traitor before they finish the job. Her own gift, control over other people's bodies through touch, may be the only thing that keeps her alive.
