The Search for WondLa

Eva Nine has lived all twelve years of her life inside Sanctuary, an underground bunker, cared for by a robot called Muthr who has taught her survival skills for a world she has never actually seen. When a hunter named Besteel destroys the sanctuary, Eva escapes to the surface for the first time and finds a planet that looks nothing like the holographic lessons she grew up with. Clutching a scrap of old cardboard bearing the word "WondLa" and a faded picture of a girl, a robot, and an adult human, she sets out to find others like herself. Along the way she befriends a gentle blue alien and a water bear creature, and slowly uncovers the truth about where, and when, she really is.
