The Simple Wild

Calla Fletcher left rural Alaska as a toddler and grew up a polished city girl in Toronto, more comfortable with lattes and Instagram than mud and mosquitoes. When she learns her estranged father is dying, she flies north to the tiny wilderness community she barely remembers. There she collides with Jonah, the gruff, bearded bush pilot who works for her father and makes no secret of thinking she cannot hack it out there. The two spark and spar as Calla tries to bridge the gap with the father she never knew, and the rough, beautiful place slowly gets under her skin. What starts as pure friction turns into something deeper for both of them.
