The Song of Orphan's Garden

In an arctic world that grows colder with every passing day, a girl named Lyriana has one hope of keeping herself and her little brother Zave alive: reaching the fabled Orphan's Garden, the single place said to lie beyond the reach of the deadly Winter Spirits and the tyrant Giant king, where healing trees can melt away Winter's pain and let children live in the warmth of an endless Spring. Brob, a Giant boy who accidentally grew the garden with an ancient magic years ago, has no wish to share his refuge with humans he fears will drain its power. When the garden itself falls into danger, Lyriana and Brob discover they are the only two who can save it, and only if they set aside the old war between Humans and Giants. Told in alternating verse between the two.
