The Stranger in the Mirror
A kind stranger finds a young woman bleeding by a New Jersey highway with no memory of who she is. Her body heals, but the past never returns, so with the help of the couple who rescued her she becomes Addison Hope and starts over. Two years on she is engaged to a warm, wealthy man and almost happy, except for the fragments that keep breaking through, flashes of blood and harm that make her wonder whether she was a victim or something worse. In Boston, a psychiatrist named Julian raises his small daughter alone after his wife disappeared. The two threads draw together until Addison's recovered memory and Julian's missing wife turn out to be the same buried secret.
