We Hunt the Flame

The land of Arawiya is dying, its magic lost and a cursed forest called the Arz swallowing more of the world each year. Zafira, known only as the Hunter, disguises herself as a man to brave the Arz and feed her people. Nasir, the sultan's son and feared Prince of Death, kills anyone his father names. When both are sent to recover a lost artifact that could restore Arawiya's magic, they are thrown together on a treacherous journey where the line between ally and enemy keeps shifting, and where the truth about the curse is darker than either of them expected.
