Where You End
Kat wakes from a coma in 1980s Philadelphia with her memory erased, remembering nothing of her life except the name and face of her identical twin, Jude. Jude takes on the task of restoring Kat's history, recounting their childhood and their bond piece by piece, and at first Kat has no reason to doubt her. But as her body and instincts begin to react to things Jude has not told her, Kat realizes she has no way to test whether the story she is being given is true. The version of the past Jude offers grows harder to reconcile with the fragments surfacing on their own, and the sisters' history turns out to hold a violence that one of them has worked hard to keep buried.
