Gloria Naylor

Gloria Naylor was an American novelist known for her powerful depictions of the African-American experience, particularly the lives of Black women. Her debut novel The Women of Brewster Place won the National Book Award for First Novel, and her subsequent works include Mama Day and Linden Hills.
