Ottessa Moshfegh is an American novelist and short story writer. Her novel My Year of Rest and Relaxation, about a young woman who attempts to sleep through an entire year of her life, became a literary sensation and BookTok favorite. She also wrote Eileen, which was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize, and Lapvona.
