Greenwild: The World Behind the Door

Eleven-year-old Daisy Thistledown is on the run. Her journalist mother has vanished on a dangerous assignment, and someone is hunting Daisy across London. Following her mother's last piece of advice, she makes for Kew Gardens, where she slips through a hidden door and out of the city into the Greenwild, a world bursting with plant magic and natural wonders she never imagined were real. There she meets a band of gifted children and learns that the Greenwild holds the key to finding her mother, but a shadow is spreading through both worlds. With a cat named Napoleon and a handful of new friends, Daisy must uncover the truth and stop a threat that reaches from the hidden world back into her own.
