Nettle & Bone

Marra is the youngest of three royal daughters, hidden away in a convent while her sisters are married off to the prince of a stronger kingdom for the sake of an alliance. When Marra realizes the prince is abusing her surviving sister and that no ordinary help will come, she resolves to kill him. A grave-witch called the dust-wife sets her three impossible tasks, and completing them draws together an unlikely band: the dust-wife herself, a demon-haunted hen, a captured fairy godmother, and a knight bound by a debt of honor. Together they journey toward the prince's court to end his reign.
