Small Miracles

Gadriel, the fallen angel of petty temptations, has run up a gambling debt with her angelic bookie, and the terms of repayment sound simple enough: tempt the miserably sinless Holly Harker into doing a few nice things for herself. Gadriel tries every angle, appearing as a charming woman, a handsome man, and even an adorable kitten, and Holly politely refuses each one. When chocolate itself fails to move her target, Gadriel begins to suspect the whole assignment is a con. Drawing on her memories of her old job as a guardian angel, she starts working small miracles instead of small temptations, and finds herself falling for the very human she was sent to corrupt.
